I'm new to the forum (obviously), I'm from the UK, and I can't wait to read the back issues of the magazine .
Is this place still active?

Hi, Relatively, and welcome to Tower of Light! I hope you enjoy the zine.
Well, I'm trying to keep it active. I've had difficulty from the very beginning. While I get tons of submissions for the zine, I don't seem to get nearly enough traffic here at the forum, and very little discussion about the stories (unfortunately). I've tried all sorts of things too, like being active myself on other forums. Well, I can only hope that things will change.
So, tell us a bit about yourself. And how did you find ToL? |

Its a shame there isn't much of a response yet, projects like this are really fantastic, it would be a shame to see one fail. I'll try and keep active on the forums, and contribute to discussions on the stories and whatnot.

I found ToL specifically looking for something like this to read on my sony reader. So it was thanks to google I turned up here. I liked it, so I signed up to the forum .
Just out of curiosity, are there any plans to release ebook versions of the zine? Like in mobipocket, sony reader format etc.
Thanks for the warm welcome |

Thanks, Relatively. I really appreciate the support!
At the moment, there aren't any plans for a project like that. Right now I don't know how to make them in a format other than PDF . Do they use PDF files? I'm assuming the format is different. I have ideas for things that I might do in the future, but of course I will have to get permission from the authors first, among other things, |

PDF is an ebook format technically, but one which is very frustrating on any ebook device. So formats like mobi, lrf and epub are great (the latter especially now the ipod/iphone has become so popular for ereading). If you ever decide you do want to release in these formats then I can create them all pretty quickly if you need a hand . |
