Hi, everyone!

I've written a six-book, 700,000-word epic fantasy that I describe as "J.R.R. Tolkien meets Stephen King." The series is not for young adults. If made into a series of movies (I wish!), it would be R-rated for sexual content and graphic violence.

Though The Death Wizard Chronicles are sexy and action-packed, there also is a lot going on between the lines. For instance, I am a student of Eastern philosophy, and my series is steeped in it. My ancient language is a direct translation of Pali, a derivative of Sanskrit.

October was a busy month for me. I spoke and read at the Times Festival of Reading in Florida and appeared at six bookstores, on digital TV, on an international online podcast, and on a radio program. I had a feature in a major newspaper and very positive reviews in a major newspaper and on a popular blog. Whew! Let's hope it all translates into sales.

Anyway, I'd love to hear from any and all of you, whether in this forum or by email.

And much thanks to Michael for inviting me to participate.

Warmly,

Jim Very Happy

Thanks, Jim, and welcome to the forums!

I'd just like to say that Death Wizard Chronicles is a "must read" for any fantasy fan, and the next issue of Tower of Light will feature a review of it. I can't wait to read Book Two, Moon Goddess.
