Welcome to the forums, Maladicta! Nice to see you here.
What kind of cat do you have? I used to have a cat named Conan but I did a lot a moving around for awhile. One of my lanlords kept the door to my apartment open when he was painting and I never saw Conan again. My son was very unhappy about that.

Greebo is just a plain moggy. My sister found her mum giving birth in her back garden, and we have no idea who the dad is. I'm getting a kitten soon too, it's going to be called Pippin.

Cool. Are you naming it after Pippin in Lord of the Rings? Just asking because - as you've probably already noticed - I tend to name my pets after fantasy characters. I know, I can be pretty lame sometimes. 
Although "Greebo" sounds familiar, I can't quite place it . . .

I am indeed. And Greebo is named after Nanny Ogg's cat in the Pratchett books I'm so fond of.
