Superman: Speeding BulletsThe truth is that I've only read so many graphic novels. I do love them and superhero comics, I just haven't been able to really afford to collect them so I just get a little taste here and there.
One of favorites, however, is "Superman: Speeding Bullets" by J. M. DeMatteis and Eduardo Barreto. The premise behind the story is this: What if Kal-El were found by the Wayne family instead of the Kents? When Kal-El witnesses the murder of his adopted parents he becomes an extremely violent, powerful, and hateful Batman. The ending is sort of cliche, but I still enjoyed it.
