Okay, I'm adding this thread as an extension to the question posted in the general discussion. Maybe it isn't necessary, but I'm giving it a shot anyway.
As I stated in the other post, I'm not sure when "classic" horror ends. I do consider Stoker's Dracula and Shelley's Frankenstein to be classics (although Frankenstein could also be called "science fiction horror"), but other than that I'm lost.
Would Lovecraft be classic or contemporary?
