I get my ideas from so many sources, I couldn't possibly list them. I will say that I'm influenced by different media and quite a few authors. In my book, I try to incorporate some of the anime fantasy conventions (like huge, unweildy swords with intricate designs, etc.), because I really like anime.

You may not be up to the task yet, Nabs. It takes a lot of patience. Although, I knew I wanted to be a writer by the time I was 13, so . . .

Anyway, if you want to write, there's one golden rule: READ. Read as much as you possibly can, and then read some more. It's the best way to learn the conventions of literature (how a book or short story should look before trying publish).
