I just watched Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence and I loved it. The art work was a bit different from the first but still quite breathtaking. I could see differences in how the characters were drawn, although they were still recognizably the same characters. The mix of 3D images with 2D in the scenery seemed brilliantly done to me. And the story . . . wow. It was even weirder than and equally as thought-provoking as the first.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it.
