Death note

I am not really into the whole anime thing myself, I mostly dislike this medium, but this show is really amazing. The plot of this series is really well done.

An "A" student in Japan suddenly comes across a Death Note dropped by one of the Death Gods. In this notebook he needs to write just the person's name and have the person's face in his mind and that person will die in 40 seconds. But he can also specify the cause of death, the final actions before death etc. So what this student decides is to kill all the criminals in the world to create a perfect world. But then the police start chasing after him and the plot really takes off after that.

If you can try and watch it. I highly recommend it.

Actually, I must admit, after watching 20 episodes of DN so far, I find it very intriguing. Both Light and L are very interesting characters. I especially like L. I've also seen the first live action movie now, and that was pretty well done.
